It came together quite nicely.

To elaborate, this is my and my mother's place of meditation. It is kind of a collaboration of Pagan and Native American. The four candles in the middle of the table are white, yellow, red, and black, the colors of the four directions, or the medicine wheel.

We are still working to gather all the elements, but the table is full of crystals, totems, Star Tetrahedrons, and other treasures. My mom put her wizard there because she is quite fond of him, and my Buddha is there. I also put my Okinawan lion/dogs - Shisa there, as they are a symbol of protection. (I was an exchange student in Okinawa, so it's not totally random - lol. ) And of course we have some of the smudge sticks that we make ourselves!

Neither of us really conform to any set "rules" of a religion or spirituality ... so throwing all of these things together just works for us.
